About the program: The program aims to cultivate students' skills across various aspects of film production, encompassing genres like feature films, documentaries, and experimental films. It provides a comprehensive understanding of all stages involved in film production, starting from initial concept definition and research, scriptwriting, shooting, lighting, sound recording, editing, direction, and concluding with the final production.
Students can specialize in one of the following tracks: directing, cinematography (shooting), film editing (synthesizing), screenwriting, or sound.
Ultimately, the program aspires to nurture a fresh generation of Palestinian filmmakers who possess a profound grasp of cinematic language in both its artistic and theoretical dimensions. Additionally, they will be well-versed in the technical and professional aspects of filmmaking, enabling them to contribute to the creation of a vibrant and innovative Palestinian cinema.
